Key hand over for the third building at Saltisford Business Park to Coun Alan farnell, leader of Warwickshire County Council

The final phase of the £16 million Saltisford Office Park development in Warwick has been handed over two weeks ahead of schedule bringing a prime town centre back to life.

The Shepherd Developments project is claimed to be the first high quality office scheme in Warwick town centre for 15 years.

The former waste transfer depot and gas works has been transformed into 76,000 sq ft of Grade A offices which is now occupied by Warwickshire County Council's Children & Adult Services Directorate.

The council moved into the first two buildings, of 35,000 sq ft, in march last year and Moss Construction finished the 41,000 sq ft third building two weeks ahead of schedule.

Gregg Titley, development surveyor at Shepherd Developments, said: "The completion of Saltisford Office Park is a major milestone for Warwick and we are delighted that Warwickshire County Council has recognised this and chosen to relocate hundreds of staff from numerous sites from the Warwick and Leamington area to the new facilities."

"The redevelopment has had a positive impact on the immediate environment."

The completed development saw 306 staff move into the first two buildings last year and now 433 are switching. Wareing & Co and CB Richard Ellis represented Shepherd Developments which is the commercial property development arm of Shepherd Group, one of the UK's largest family-owned businesses.
