Early finish for park

The final phase of the £16 million Saltisford Office Park development in Warwick has been handed over two weeks ahead of schedule bringing a prime town centre back to life.

Shepherd Developments Saltisford Office Park is the first high quality office scheme in Warwick town centres for 15 years and the final building of the scheme has now been sold to Warwickshire County Council.

The site required substantial regeneration and remediation work to bring the former waste back to life, creating 76,000 sq ft of prime Grade A office accommodation which is now occupied by Warwickshire County Council's Children & Adult Services Directorate.

The council moved into the first two buildings, comprising 35,000 sq ft in March last year and Moss Construction finished the 41,000 sq ft third building two weeks ahead of schedule.

Gregg Titley, development surveyor at Shepherd Developments, said: "The completion of Saltisford Office Park is a major milestone for Warwick and we are delighted that Warwickshire County Council has recognised this and chosen to relocate hundreds of staff from numerous sites from the Warwick and Leamington area to the new facilities."

The completed development saw 306 staff move into the first two buildings last year and now 433 are moving into the final building.
