GUS is Latest Signing for Doncaster's Leger Centre
Catalogue Bargain Shops, part or GUS, is the latest retailer to take space in the new Leger Centre, on Thorne Road, Doncaster. This multi-million pound retail scheme is a joint venture by Shepherd Developments and Bayford Developments Ltd.
The Leger Centre, in a key roundabout location on the A18 Doncaster-Scunthorpe trunk road, provides around 30,000 square feet (2,787 M²) of lettable retail space. A food store has been pre-let to rapidly expanding discount food retailer Lidl and a further 9,700 square feet (901 M²) has now been let to GUS.
This leaves approximately 4,800 square feet (446 M²) of open A1 non-food retail space within this substantially completed scheme. There is a further opportunity for a restaurant at the front of the site. It is anticipated that the project will have an end value in excess of £4 million.
