Retail Park Investment Sale Leger Retail Centre, Thorne Road, Doncaster

Advised by Knight Frank, Shepherd Developments and Bayford Developments have disposed of the freehold interest in the Leger Retail Centre, on Thorne Road, Doncaster to Peter Gilman's GMI Holdings.

The development, which was completed in 2001, comprises a supermarket let to Lidl, a KFC drive through restaurant and two further retail units, let to GUS and Motor World. The total floor area is 30,760 Ft² (2,858 M²), with the units situated around a central car park for 143 vehicles. The development was constructed by GMI Construction Group Ltd.

The scheme has the benefit of open A1 retail consent and generates a total income of £322,151 per annum.

The sale price of £3,761,000 represented a net initial yield of 8.1%.
